Pay Commission recommendations debated in DCCBs context

The first meeting of the committee constituted for removing the salary discrepancies of the employees working in the 50 DCCBs of Uttar Pradesh, was concluded on Thursday, with a discussion on implementation of common pay commission, among others.

The meeting was held at Lucknow at the headquarters of Uttar Pradesh State Cooperative Bank under the Chairmanship of Dheeraj Chandra.

Talking to the Indian Cooperative soon after the meeting, Chandra said, “The meeting was held on a positive note and it was the first meeting, many other meetings in this context will be held in the near future, ” he said.

“We have discussed collecting the data of the employees from all the DCCBs in the meantime and after this we could make some decisions. In many banks, the pay scale of employees has not been revised for many years”, said Chandra.

It is gathered that in many DCCBs of Uttar Pradesh including Ballia, Jaunpur, Sultanpur, Hardoi, Fatehpur, the salary of the employees has not been revised since long and it was discussed in the meeting for implementing at least 5th pay commission in these banks.

The members also deliberated on filling the vacant post in the DCCBs.
