Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar laid the foundation stone of GS Mahanagar Cooperative Bank’s new head office in Mumbai on Wednesday.
Talking to Indian Cooperative correspondent the bank Managing Director Manjunathan T Kanchan said, “We are constructing a new head office at Mumbai which will be a nine-storey building. The area is estimated to be about 49,000 sq feet and the cost of the project is of Rs 65 crore. The time to complete the project will be 18 months”, he added.
State Revenue Minister Balasaheb Thorat, the bank Chairman Uday Shelke and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
