The process of computerization of Primary Agriculture Cooperative Societies (PACCs) of Bihar is going on full swing under the supervision of Nabard.
There are reports that earlier Nabard had sought the details of PACCs and their three years audit reports from the cooperative department and the details of seven thousand PACCs have been sent.
It is said that after the computerization, their software will be linked to co-op banks. Under the scheme, about 40 percent cost will be borne by the state government.
There are 8,463 PACCs in the state and the audits of 8k PACCs have been done.
