A group of five armed criminals recently made away with Rs 7.35 lakh from a co-operative society in Balasore in Odisha, reports a news outlet.
According to reports, criminals barged into Kasbakarmada Co-Operative Service Society and decamped with the cash by brandishing gun after locking the staff and customers in a room.
Police have begun investigating the incident. Police say the co-operative society had neither CCTVs nor sirens.
