Odisha is bolstering its cooperative sector by supporting farmers and vulnerable groups through Primary Agricultural Cooperative Societies (PACS) and Large Adivasi Multi-Purpose Cooperative Societies (LAMPCS), media reports say.
The state has allocated Rs 76.80 crore as seed money for 2,542 newly formed societies, aimed at enhancing agricultural development.
This initiative reflects the Odisha government’s commitment to addressing farmers’ challenges and improving agricultural infrastructure, strengthening the cooperative framework to empower rural communities economically.
