Pioneer reports Odisha BJP has demanded immediate Primary Cooperative Society elections in accordance with the Odisha Cooperative Act and the constitutional norms in the state.
The BJP has alleged that the state govt. has yet to publish notification in this connection and has instead appointed govt. officer as an in -charge officer. It is worth mentioning that the terms of primary cooperative societies are ending later this month.
