On the occasion of Cooperative Week from 14th -20th November 2018, NSRICM, Kalyani has organised a “Cooperative Week Celebration” at the Institutes Conference Hall. Dr. P. K. Upadhayay, Director of Institute, Shri R. K. Patra, Senior Faculty Member, Shri A. K. Mahato, Senior Faculty Member and Dr. I. A. Khan, Sr. Faculty Member, NSRICM, Kalyani were present as Key speakers of the said program.
All staff members and all around 80 participants of Diploma in Industrial Cooperative Management & Retail Management (all are Defence Personnel, Ministry of Defence, and Govt. of India) have participated in said program. It was a huge participation in cooperative week program from all the participants including staff members.
Dr. P. K. Upadhayay, Director has inaugurated the cooperative week programme with cooperative flag hosting in presence of all faculty members, staff and other participants. Dr. Upadhayay spoke about theme “Inclusive Growth and Good Governance through Cooperatives for Rural Prosperity” and purpose of Cooperative Week facilitation including developmental aspect of cooperatives in the state.
Dr. I. A. Khan as program coordinator has given his expertise about the good governance through use of knowledge, skill and technological development in the cooperative field for inclusive growth. Dr. Khan also motivated to the participants of Defence personnel to join hands for cooperative development.
Institutes Senior Faculty Member, Shri R. K. Patra, explained about importance and role of primary cooperatives in all sector for rural development. Shri Patra also explained about awareness of cooperative principles to develop the cooperatives in grass root level through cooperative education and cooperative training.
Shri A. K. Mahato, Senior Faculty Member also talked about future of cooperative movement and the development of rural people by becoming members of cooperative society in their region. On the end of the program Dr. I. A. Khan, Senior Faculty Member organised the Programme and has given vote of thanks to all.
