The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has not taken over the case related to Sri Guru Raghavendra Sahakari Bank, said CBI while replying to the RTI query.
The CBI’s Anti Corruption Branch of Bangalore said, “It is to inform that CBI has not taken over the case related to Shri Raghavendra Cooperative Bank Ltd”.
“In case, if you are not satisfied with the above decision, you may approach the Appellate Authority Le, Joint Director, CUI, ACZ, Hyderabad ‘W’ Block, 3rd Floor, Kendriya Sadan, Sulthan Bazar, Hyderabad 500 095 in the 1st appeal within 30 days from the date of receipt of this communication”, it added.
It bears recalling that last year in December 2023, Karnataka Government led by Siddaramaiah ordered a CBI inquiry into the Sri Guru Raghavendra Sahakara Bank scam in Basavanagudi.
