RBI extended the period of directions of two urban cooperative banks for a further period of three months. These banks are Suri Friends Union Cooperative Bank and Durga Cooperative Urban Bank, Vijayawada.
The directions on the Suri Friends’ Union Co-operative Bank Limited, Suri (West Bengal) shall continue to apply to the bank for a further period of three months from April 23, 2024 to July 22, 2024 subject to review.
And, the directives on Durga Cooperative Urban Bank, Vijayawada shall continue to apply to the bank for a further period of three months from close of business of April 29, 2024, to close of business of July 29, 2024, subject to review.
The other terms and conditions of the Directives under reference shall remain unchanged.
