No proposal from Delhi govt yet for assistance: Shah

“No proposal has been received from Delhi Government by the Ministry of Cooperation or NCDC”, said Union Cooperative Amit Shah. He was replying to a query raised by Lok Sabha member Manoj Tiwari.

Tiwari asked “Whether the Government has received any proposal from Delhi Government for work in this sector”.

Shah added, “In order to realize the vision ‘from cooperation to prosperity’, the strengthening of the cooperative movement in the country, deepening its reach up to the grassroots and promotion of cooperative ecosystem in various sectors, the government is implementing various schemes – central sector and centrally sponsored schemes, programs and initiatives across the country, including Delhi.

In this regard, the Ministry of Cooperation, since its formation in July, 2021, has taken many new initiatives.
