Jharkhand Chief Minister Champai Soren laid the foundation stone of a new unit of NDDB managed Jharkhand State Cooperative Milk Producers Federation Limited (JMF) at Jamshedpur last week.
On this occasion, State Agriculture Minister Badal Patralekh, Health Minister Banna Gupta, several MLAs of the District and Managing Director Jharkhand Milk Federation Sudhir Kr. Singh was also present.
In his speech, Badal took a moment to acknowledge NDDB’s invaluable contribution to Dairy Development of Jharkhand, recognising their pivotal role.
JMF is currently procuring 2.5 LLPD of milk. The new unit in Jamshedpur marks a significant milestone as the 8th unit for JMF.
Over 50,000 milk producers are part of this success story, with a seamless payment system in place – they receive their dues every 10 days through the efficient DBT process, read a NDDB ‘X’ wall.
