Suresh Prabhu, former Union Minister and Chairman of the National Cooperative Policy Drafting Committee, announced in Udupi on Sunday that the Draft National Cooperation Policy will focus on implementing uniform technology across the cooperative sector to boost its growth.
Speaking at a felicitation event, Prabhu emphasized the cooperative sector’s critical role in shaping the future of India’s economy, employment, and social sectors.
He highlighted that the adoption of consistent technology would empower the cooperative sector to lead the nation’s economic future.
The draft, developed after extensive consultations with cooperators nationwide, is awaiting approval from the Union Cooperation Ministry.
