The Recently launched NCUI’s Incubation Centre is drawing media attention as products and people from this centre take part in fashion shows with élan. Participants in the fashion show walked the ramp putting on an exclusive clothing range promoting the outfits & accessories created by the Indian artisans.
One of its products- Long Jacket made from the waste fabric has drawn attention of customers. Designed by Ms. Poonam, Resource Person at Incubation Centre, was selected and promoted during the fashion show organized by ROUGE Fashion Show society of NIFT Delhi during the NIFT Craft Bazaar on 4th March 2023.
Two accessories from NCUI were key attraction in the Fashion Show ? artificial jewellery, created by Ms. Geeta (a trainee at Incubation Centre), & leather bag (made by Jodhpuri Latiyal Mata SHG and Baba Ramdev SHG) from NCUI Haat. Besides, the Women belonging to NCUI’s Incubation Centre also put up food stalls of Banarsi Matka Chaat, Kolkata Chana Chaat, Dal Bati, Momos, and Hara Bhara Kabab.
The Women entrepreneurs & SHGs associated with NCUI Incubation Centre & NIFT Delhi put up stalls of fabrics, herbal colors and other items at the NIFT Bazaar. Selected products of NCUI Haat were also displayed. Herbal Holi colors and homemade eatery items received good response from the stall visitors. Craft Bazaar helps bridge the gap between the rural craftsmen, urban affluent consumers & professional designers.
