NCUI Incubation Center recently organized a one-day workshop on Mission Market Mirchi, an e-marketing platform developed and operated by the Rural Technology Action Group (RuTAG), IIT Mumbai, working under the Chief Scientific Advisor to the Government of India.
MarketMirchi is an online marketing application that provides a medium to farmers and SHGs to directly connect with buyers for promotion of their products. Smt. Pragati Gokhale is the Chief Mentor of Mission MarketMirchi and National Resource Person, Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India.
It provides complete training to the women from placing advertisements to contacting buyers to sell their products through the application.
The women enthusiastically took advantage of the training and downloaded the application and placed their advertisements on it.
Cooperative societies and self-help groups associated with NCUI can also login to http://marketmirchi.com and contact buyers for their products.
