The 29th Online Diploma Program in Cooperative Education and Development, organized by the apex cooperative body NCUI, commenced on 7th October 2024.
A total of 50 participants from various states, including Arunachal Pradesh, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Delhi, Chhattisgarh, and Nagaland, have enrolled in this 12-week program. Running until 22nd December 2024, the diploma program is organized by the National Centre for Cooperative Education (NCCE), NCUI’s training arm.
The inaugural session featured Savitri Singh, Deputy Chief Executive of NCUI, who presented the course objectives.
The event was also attended by Inderpreet Kaur, course coordinator, and Hemant Yadav, Assistant Director of NCCE. During the session, participants introduced themselves and expressed their expectations from the diploma.
Expert sessions followed, with Rajeev Sharma, Executive Director of NCUI, discussing the “Origin and Evolution of the Cooperative Movement in India and Dr. V.K. Dubey, NCUI Advisor, covering “Education, Training, and Promotion of Cooperatives.
The program includes two weeks of contact classes and a final examination to be held at NCCE, New Delhi.
