On the third day of the ongoing NCUI Cooperative Fair, the Centre for Entrepreneurship Development and Cooperation (CEDC) held a certificate distribution ceremony for recent graduates of the NCUI Incubation Centre.
Over fifty women trainees from the 11th to 15th batches received certificates in a program that highlighted the organization’s commitment to fostering entrepreneurship among women.
The event was graced by Ms. Monruedee Sommart, Assistant Director-General of Police (ADGP), Royal Thai Police and Advisor to Thailand’s Ministry of Labour and Industries, as the Guest of Honour, alongside Dr. Sudhir Mahajan, Chief Executive of NCUI, as the Chief Guest.
Ms. Sommart congratulated the trainees and expressed her support for showcasing NCUI’s products and activities at tourist destinations across India and Thailand, aiming to boost visibility and recognition for their work.
Dr. Sudhir Mahajan encouraged the graduates to stay dedicated in their entrepreneurial journeys, emphasizing persistence as a key to success. Other distinguished guests included Ambassador Dr. Parvinder Singh, Chief Editor of Page3 Newspaper, and Prof. K.K. Singh, Principal Scientist at IIPR, ICAR, Kanpur. Sumit Singh, NCUI’s Advisor for Strategy and Cooperation, extended gratitude to the guests for their attendance and support.
The NCUI Incubation Centre has played a pivotal role in empowering women in the National Capital Region, with over two thousand women benefitting from its programs over the past three years. Many of these trainees have gone on to establish their own enterprises, marking a significant step forward in women’s entrepreneurship.
