In an editorial published in the party mouthpiece ”Saamana” Shiv Sena hailed the Modi govt’s decision to have a separate ministry of cooperation and making Amit Shah the minister.
The party added that the choice of Amit Shah as the minister is worthy of praise as he has been associated with the cooperative movement in Gujarat.
In the wake of Sharad Pawar’s outbursts in the matter, observers see Shiv Sena ‘s pro-Shah stand as significant considering simmering differences in the present coalition govt in Maharashtra.
