Once again, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) has won the elections of the Pune District Cooperative Milk Producers Association popularly known as Katraj Dairy. Out of 16 seats of the board of directors, 15 were won by the leaders of the said party.
It bears recall that the polling was held on 20th March and the counting was done on 21st March 2022. In the elections for 11 seats, 25 candidates were in the fray because five candidates were elected unopposed.
Katraj Dairy was incorporated in 1960 with an intention of providing an organized facility of milk collection for the village-level farmers situated in the Pune district.
