Goa chief minister Pramod Sawant has said the central govt’s National Cooperative Development Corporation will soon undertake several activities including financing projects worth Rs.640 crore and forming new cooperative societies to revive cooperative movement in the state, reports PTI.
According to the chief minister, NCDC has already done basic researches on the possibilities of developing cooperatives in Goa.
In the next few days, Goa’s cooperatives and NCDC functionaries will meet and discuss how NCDC could help cooperative bodies, the chief minister said.
