The National Cooperative Development Cooperation (NCDC) on Wednesday opened a sub-office in Vijayawada, with the prime objective of taking various national schemes to the doorsteps of the co-operative societies in the district and nearby regions.
“It is a moment of pride to have NCDC sub-office at Vijayawada, the administrative headquarters of NTR district which will ensure hassle free reach of the apex lender’s financial services to the cooperative societies in the region,” said Chiranjeev Chaudhary, Principal Secretary, Department of Cooperation & Marketing, Andhra Pradesh while inaugurating the premises at AP Markfed Bhavan, Jawahar Auto Nagar, Vijayawada.
The cooperative societies, especially in the agriculture and allied-sectors can prepare their business plans together with the NCDC officials and avail benefits from corporation’s financial services, he added.
Vamshi Dubasi, Regional Director, NCDC said that the Corporation has been catering to the needs of cooperatives in the State of Andhra Pradesh for a long time and the opening of the sub-office will further ease in utilizing its services, improve the reach of NCDC services to cooperatives throughout the State.
Rahul Pandey, Managing Director, AP Markfed Ltd; Adinarayana, GM; along with other officials from AP Markfed, officials of APCOB, Sthree Nidhi Federation and other cooperative societies were among the dignitaries who graced the occasion.
