National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC) has disbursed an amount of Rs 3,333.21 Crore to Cooperatives in the State of Odisha, informed Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah in a written reply.
“Ministry of Cooperation is implementing the schemes to revitalize and strengthen the cooperative sector across the country, including the State of Odisha and its tribal areas”, he added.
Shah’s reply further added, “Project for Computerization of 63,000 Primary Agriculture Credit Societies (PACSs) across the country at a total estimated cost of Rs. 2,516 Crore. Financial assistance of Rs 341.67 Cr in the Year 2021-22 and Rs 47.9 Crore in the current year, in the form of subsidy/grant to the Cooperative societies under erstwhile Central Sector Integrated Scheme on Agricultural Cooperation for the cooperative sector”.
