The agri cooperative lender NCDC provided a financial assistance of Rs 252.33 crore in the state of Uttar Pradesh for the development of the cooperative sector in the 2021-22 FY.
This was shared by the Union Home and Cooperative Minister Amit Shah while giving a written reply to the query of Rajya Sabha member from Uttar Pradesh Geeta Shakya.
The NCDC gave Rs 50.077 crore for Integrated Cooperative Development Projects (ICDPs) in 15 Districts, Rs 200 crore assistance to Pradeshik Cooperative Union Ltd., (PCU) Lucknow for MSP Operation, Rs 84 lakh for Formation and Promotion of FPOs, Rs 32k for PMMSY Workshops and Rs 1.383 crore for Computerization of DCCBs.
In addition to above, in the State of UP 82 training programs were organized by National Council for Cooperative Training (NCCT) aiding in capacity building of 3,071 participants, said Shah.
