The newly elected Chairman of National Consumer Cooperative Federation (NCCF) Vishal Singh met a couple of Union Ministers and sought their support in taking the federation to newer heights.
He met Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Union Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and PDS Piyush Goyal last week, among others. NCCF falls under the latter ministry.
Soon after the meeting, Singh shared the news through social media with photographs, which were later on shared widely by his followers.
“Last Saturday evening, met Mr. Piyush Goyal ji, Hon’ble Minister, Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Government of India and discussions about how #NCCF can work better in the interest of the consumers of the country were held and I also sought their cooperation. The Honourable Minister assured all possible cooperation”.
In the recent elections of NCCF, Singh was elected unopposed with his deputy Yashpal Singh Yadav. Vishal Singh is the son of veteran cooperator Late Ajit Singh and the grandson of the famous Tapeshwar Singh.
