NCCE recently organized a training programme on Cooperation and Cooperative Management for the personnel of IFFCO Unit, Paradeep(Odisha). The programme was designed to improve the performance of employees on the basis of cooperative values and thoughts.
The event was inaugurated by K.P.Nanda, Head of Training Centre. He focused on cooperative system and its application in the Cooperative Organization like IFFCO. He said the IFFCO is an organization that is hundred percent a cooperative organization. He mentioned about how IFFCO provides its members with quality fertilizers, innovative agricultural information and organizes other social development activities in the rural areas.
Dr. V.K. Dubey, Director, NCUI expressed his views on need and benefits of Cooperative Education and Training for Employees of Cooperative Sectors.
The Topic discussed during the programme were – Cooperative Thoughts and Concept, Cooperative Principles & Values, Cooperative Business Model, Special Features of a Cooperative Organization Differentiate from Private and Public Sector, Problems and Challenges before Cooperative Movement in India.
Subjects like Salient Features of Multi State Cooperative Act, 2002 and 97th Constitutional Amendment, Cooperative Management with Special Reference to IFFCO, Growth and Trends of Cooperative Management in India, Agriculture Input Supply and Extension Services of IFFCO were also discussed.
