NCCE, the training and education arm of the apex co-op body in the country, NCUI conducted a month-long Certificate Course on Cooperative Accounting and Taxation which ended successfully recently.
Addressing the inaugural session of the course, Ms Savitri Singh, Director, NCCE emphasized on the importance of the course for employees of cooperative organizations.
She said by acquiring wide-ranging knowledge on the issues of taxation and accounting, the employees can follow proper rules and regulations in their respective organizations.
A total number of 30 participants from various states like Karnataka, Odisha, West Bengal, Gujarat, J&K, etc participated in the program, informs a press release.
The online training program covered in-depth the various subjects like cooperative concept, principles and values, law and management, financial management, cooperative auditing, taxation, HRD, income generation, etc.
The in-house faculty along with Resource Persons/experts from various organizations took the sessions. The participants who had active interactions with the Resource Persons, felt that such programs should be organized frequently.
