In a bid to strengthen the cooperative movement in the country, the top cooperative lender- NCDC and the apex body—NCUI, joined hands with a renewed vigour on Tuesday. The Newly elected NCUI President Dileep Sanghani was felicitated by Sundeep Nayak, MD of NCDC.
“We will try to coordinate still better so that the benefits of the co-op movement reach out to every farmer in the country”, said NCUI Chairman Dileepbhai Sanghani during his felicitation program at the NCDC headquarters.
I am associated with NCDC since 2015 and have seen many development activities being undertaken by it, stated Sanghani. He also mentioned the good work being done by Laxmanrao Inamdar Co-op Training Institute and hoped for its further success with NCCE.
Several senior officials of NCDC were connected with the event through video conferencing. “Co-ops are playing an important role in the economy and I am sure they will play a key role in Atmanirbhar Bharat, vision of our Prime Minister Narendra Modi”, Sanghani added.
He also praised the efforts of NCDC MD Sundeep Kumar Nayak for his involvement in development activities for co-ops. NCDC has launched several schemes which are going to benefit the co-ops in a big way, he said. He congratulated Nayak for organizing the International Cooperative Trade Fair in October 2019.
Speaking on the occasion the NCDC MD admired Sanghani for his proactive approach. “He keeps encouraging us all the time and never says “no” to any idea aimed at helping cooperatives”, said Nayak.
