Under the Deen Dayal Upadhyay Sahkarita Kisan Kalyan Scheme, Uttarakhand based Nainital District Central Cooperative Bank will disburse loans to 2k farmers worth of Rs 6 crore.
Talking to media persons, the bank’s Chairman Rajendra Singh Negi said, “Under the government scheme we will provide interest free loans to small, marginal and below poverty line farmers in rural areas. The loan amounts will be between Rs 1 lakh to Rs 3 Lakh and will be provided for agriculture related works”, he said.
On 6th February the loan mela will be organized in Nainital which will be inaugurated by the State Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat.
