Nagaland State Cooperative Bank has made a record profit of Rs 837.15 lakh during 2016-17 and projected a profit target of Rs 1600.00 lakh under Developmental Action Plan for 2016-18, reports a news outlet.
This was revealed at the 28th meeting of Board of Directors of the Bank held towards the end of April.
The Board reviewed the financial situation of the bank, the CD ratio, issue and recovery of loans and advances, NPAS, implementation of central government/ NABARD and State government sponsored schemes.
The board underlined the role of the latest technology in the development of banking services.
Scores of leading cooperators and experts attended the board meeting.
