Nagaland State Cooperative Bank recently launched the Rupay Kissan Card Project in Kohima. Rupay Kissan Cards were distributed to the farmers on the occasion by P.B Acharya, Governor of Nagaland.
The holders of Rupay Kissan Cards will have access to digital transactions at POS machines and Micro ATMs.
Nagaland State Co-operative Bank is committed to issue 10000 numbers of Rupay Kisan Card to farmers of the state shortly.
The project is inspired by Prime Minister Modi’s idea that cooperative and rural banks should issue “Rupay Kisan Cards” to at least 4.32 crore farmers of the country.
