Telangana Today reports Karimnagar District Cooperative Central Bank (DCCB) which was lagging behind with a modest turnover of Rs 200 crore in 2006-07 surged to a whopping turnover of Rs 4,000 crore in 2019-20.
The bank posted a profit of Rs 11.12 crore in 2019-20. The bank offers services to a little less than a million customers.
Talking to news men DCCB chairman, Telangana State Apex Cooperative Bank (TSCAB) chairman and NAFSCOB chairman Konduru Ravinder Rao said that the DCCB has set an example in the country showing as high as 97 per cent recovery rate despite Covid-19.
