A well-known co-operator from Punjab and Nafcub Vice-President K K Sharma’s sudden passing away has shocked the cooperative banking sector. He died on Sunday late at night. He was 86 years old.
Tributes and condolences kept pouring in to Indian Cooperative’s desk as well. He was associated with NAFUCB for more than two decades.
On his sudden demise, Nafcub President Jyotindra Mehta said, “A senior cooperator of national level and my mentor Shri K. K. Sharma from Jalandhar, Punjab has left for his heavenly abode. The news has left me speechless.”
A veteran cooperator and vice President at NAFCUB, New Delhi, Shri Sharma was actively concerned for the wellbeing of Urban Cooperative Banks across the country.
“He had wanted to see the Umbrella Organisation in action soon. His untimely exit from the stage of the world has proven to be a blow for NAFCUB and cooperative activities. Apart from being a noble soul, a well-mannered and fine personality, he was always there for friends and cooperative activities”, Mehta’s message reads.
Indian Cooperative joins others in paying tribute to Sharma.
