Nabard will help 29 Central Cooperative Banks in Rajasthan launch mobile ATMs to provide modern banking facilities in rural areas of the state, reports Times of India.
Ajay Singh Rajasthan minister said this while lauding digitization of the self-help groups under the e-Shakti programme under NABARD.
The minister informed that a three member board has been instituted to ensure fair and transparent recruitment of employees and officials to the co operative department.
RBI has refused to accept old denomination notes of Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 from district cooperative banks of Maharashtra, reports Times of India.
