Nabard to give Rs 2k crore to co-op banks: Uttarakhand Minister

Pioneer reports Nabard will provide Rs. 2,000 crore to cooperative banks of Uttarakhand to help unemployed people with loans due to the coronavirus.

Addressing the officials of the cooperative dept, Uttarakhand cooperative minister Dhan Singh Rawat revealed the information.

According to the minister, nearly 2 lakh Uttarakhandis have returned recently from various parts of the country following the corona outbreak.

Several top cooperative functionaries including the registrar cooperative societies, B M Mishra, MD state cooperative bank Deepak Kumar, General Manager (GM) of NABARD, S L Birla and others attended the meeting.
