Madhya Pradesh State Cooperative Union, which is organizing trainings in several parts of the state, recently did so for vendors of Primary Agricultural Credit Cooperative Societies of Khargone district.
Under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY), the state union claims that trained about 79 vendors who participated in this training program.
In the first session 27 participants participated whereas in the second session there were 26 participants. The third session was attended by 26 participants. Altogether 79 participants were trained.
A press release sent to India Cooperative reads “the training program was sponsored by New Delhi based National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC).
“Under the able leadership of MP State Cooperative Union, Bhopal Managing Director Rituraj Ranjan the program has been organized in different training centers at Indore, Bhopal and Jabalpur. Through the program, people have been trained in modern ways of operating retail stores”, it reads.
The press Release further reads, “Created the awareness among the vendors working in the cooperative sector to adopt the new technology in retail sector”.
Readers would recall that under the PMKVY, special focus is given to RPL by recognizing competencies of the assessed candidates and provides a certificate and monetary reward on successful completion of assessments.
