In the MP leg of his nationwide tour to strengthen the party, party president Amit Shah will hold a meeting with of district cooperative banks’ chairmen and other cooperative functionaries to acquaint himself with how cooperators feel about the strength of the party to meet the challenges in the foreseeable future, report newspapers.
BJP state president Nand Kumar Chauhan is quoted saying the tours of party National President Amit Shah across the country will make BJP an unassailable political force throughout the country.
Observers attach a very special importance to Amit Sah’s meeting with cooperators saying the development indicates the role cooperatives play in the politics in the state.
“Soon after the core group meeting of MPs, MLAs in the afternoon on August 18 Amit Shah and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will hold a meeting of district co-operative banks’ chairmen, corporation, board chairmen, authority chairmen , Mayor, Zila Panchayat Chairmen and also a core group meeting from 7 pm to 8 pm’, quotes the daily The Hitavada.
It bears recall that Amit Shah is on the board of Ahmadabad State Cooperative Ban and had been very active in the cooperative politics before the electoral politics sucked him in completely.
