Live Mint reports Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has provided cooperative banks with Rs. 800 crore to be distributed among farmers as loans at zero percent interest.
The chief minister underlined the importance of cooperatives saying they are crucial to economic growth in the state.
Referring to the agri reform bills passed by parliament, Chouhan slammed those spreading baseless lies about these bills remarking MSP would continue as before.
