Madhya Pradesh Cooperation Minister Vishvas Kailash Sarang announced the formation of a high-level, six-member committee to study the Cooperative Act and Centre-issued guidelines.
Headed by Cooperative Commissioner Manoj Pushp, the panel includes officials from Apex Bank and the Cooperation Department. This move follows directives from Union Minister Amit Shah at a recent cooperative conference in Bhopal.
The committee will recommend policy changes aligning with central guidelines. The state also plans a June 20 workshop on the Cooperative Public-Private Partnership (CPPP) model to boost investments, strengthen cooperatives, and expand milk societies from 10,000 to 26,000.
