There is a report on urea usage coming from Sehrai a village in Mungaoli Tehsil in Ashoknagar District of Madhya Pradesh. It says that the farmers are not getting urea from cooperative societies as a result of which they are forced to buy it on higher prices from the private dealers.
The report says farmers have to go far off places to buy urea. Due to this much time and energy are being wasted.
In Ashok nagar farmers have to stand in queue for more than six hours to buy urea”, according to news outlet report.
It is to be noted that presently farmers are engaged in irrigation of rabi crops. They have to sprinkle urea in their crops before watering them.
