Subhash Mohite and Subhash Vishnudas Gandhi were made the Chairman and Vice-Chairman of Maharashtra-based Pune Peoples Cooperative Bank before the elections of the board of directors of the bank. The elections of the bank will be held next year.
Mohite and Gandhi replaced CA Janardan Jijaba Randive and Dr. Ramesh Kisanrao Sonavane respectively.
“I am very thankful to the board that has reposed faith in me and made me the Chairman of the bank till the next elections. I will meet their expectations and work in the interest of depositors”, said Mohite to Indian Cooperative correspondent.
It bears recall that the bank has crossed the total business of more than Rs 2000 crore and earned a net profit of Rs 15.22 crore in the 2020-21 financial year. The bank has proposed a Dividend of 12% for the year 2020-21.
