A lower court in Jaipur has ordered a thorough police investigation into the alleged misuse of crores of rupees by the former board of directors of the Vashali urban cooperative bank.
A complaint filed with the police says the board of directors had invested the bank money in shares and other fraudulent activities for their personal gains.
Earlier the police had told the court , as the complainant is neither an employee nor an account holder of the bank, his complaint could not be taken up. The court rejected the argument made by the police and directed a speedy enquiry into the fraud.
