Ten institutions had taken loans of Rs 50 lakh or more from now defunct Indira Priyadarshini Co-operative Bank out of which the process of recovery from eight firms is underway while addresses of two institutions were found wrong, informed Cooperative Minister Dayal Das Baghel in Chhattisgarh Assembly last week.
In a written reply to the question by Congress legislator Bhupesh Baghel he said that those institutions who had taken loans of Rs 50 lakh or more are; Race and Aeros, Mumbai, Sneha Finwest Pvt. Ltd Jagdapur, SM Securities, Chhotapara, Raipur, Sunanda Vinimaya Pvt. Ltd Kolkata, High Land Finance and Trading Unit Jairam Complex Raipur, Aman Aluminum Pvt. Ltd Jagdalpur, Upkar Merchant Pvt. Ltd Kolkata, Kushal Associate Pvt. Ltd Chhotapara Raipur, Rasna Commercial Pvt. Ltd Kolkata and Amanat Vinimay Pvt. Ltd Kolkata.
Baghel informed that for loan recovery district collectors have filed case in concerned courts. On July 6, 2010 Additional Tehsildars have also been ordered to speed up the recovery process, he said.
The addresses of Aman Aluminum Pvt. Ltd Jagdalpur and Upkar Merchant Kolkata were not found correct and hence the cases have been returned to Recovery Officer of Cooperative institutions, he added.
