Telangana Today reports Telangana Agriculture Minister S Niranjan Reddy says the State government will start a new agricultural policy that could become a model for others to follow. The model involves District Cooperative Central Banks providing services to the farmers.
The minister recently unveiled the model while speaking at the executive body meeting of DCCB at Mahabubnagar.
The minister asked the Managing Director DCCB to form a committee to prepare a comprehensive report of DCCB and DCMS.
He also asked the members to study best practices in Mulkanuru, Karimnagar, and other cooperative societies in Kerala. Several top cooperative functionaries attended the meeting.
