A milk co-operative society secretary was robbed of Rs 14.80 lakh by two unidentified robbers near Tarnetar village of Than taluka in Surendranagar district in Gujarat, reports TOI.
Police said the robbers had been following Khima Rabari (55) ever since he withdrew a large amount of cash from the Thangadh branch of the State Bank of India (SBI) meant to be paid to the milk traders associated with the co-operative society.
Robbers threw chilli powder in his eyes and robbed him of his bag containing the cash. No arrests have been made so far.
