Reserve Bank has extended the Directions to Maratha Sahakari Bank Ltd, Mumbai for another six months ending February 28, 2018 subject to review, read a press release.
The first time the UCB was put under direction was August 31, 2016 for a period of 6 months which have been extended again and again.
The Reserve Bank of India is satisfied that in the public interest, it is necessary to extend the period of operation of the Directive on the Bank, read the release.
Others terms and conditions of the Directive under reference as modified from time to time remain unchanged, it concluded.
