K Manihar, a Board Member of the Manipur State Cooperative Bank Limited (MSCB), has announced his resignation from MSCB and other committee positions, citing corrupt practices among officials of the Registrar of Co-Operative Society, reports E-PAO.
During a press conference in Sekmaijin Khunou, Kakching district, Manihar detailed that the NCDC allocated Rs 40 crore for developmental projects in Manipur’s valley districts, primarily to enhance fisherfolk welfare.
He accused certain officials and societies of embezzling funds meant for increasing fish yield, leading to threats against complainants by hired armed men.
