Rajasthan based Udaipur Mahila Samridhi Urban Cooperative Bank Limited contributed Rs 1 lakh towards the PM Cares Fund in a fight against the Coronavirus epidemic last week.
In a chat with Indian Cooperative the bank CEO Vinod Chaplot said, “Our bank has donated Rs 1 lakh towards the PM Cars fund and Rs 65k from one day’s salary of its employees. The amount was given to the District Collector for helping the needy with Ration Kit”.
“We have transferred Rs 1 lakh through RTGS and our bank General Manager Usha Ji Bhatt has handed over the cheque of Rs 65k to Additional DM Sanjay Kumar”, he added.
Besides, the Bank has taken all the safety measures to save their employees from the virus and all its branches as well as the corporate office are open..
The Urban Cooperative Bank has a business mix of over Rs 200 crore.
