Patna news quotes police saying half a dozen armed criminals allegedly looted Rs 29 lakh from The Bhagalpur Central Cooperative Bank’s Sultanganj branch and beat up the bank workers.
A police source said three suspects have been taken into custody for questioning.
The criminals forced their entry into the bank and assaulted the cashier with their revolvers. Police investigation is on to solve the case.
