Left leaders accuse NDA of weakening co-ops

Hindu daily reports addressing the state conference of the Kerala cooperative employees union CPI(M) leader and LDF Liaison Committee convener Vaikom Viswan has warned the Modi govt. against undermining the cooperative sector structure in the country.

According to him, the government seemed bent on removing banking institutions from the cooperative sector.

Viswan said the NDA govt  is at work helping multinational banks to usurp the banking space in the country. It as an anti people policy being pursued by the govt in Delhi, he underlined.

The CPI [M] leader worried about a political tendencies presently raising ugly heads across the country.
