The Lakshmananda Multipurpose Cooperative Society, which celebrated its silver jubilee last year, is progressing towards becoming a full-fledged cooperative bank.
On August 15, the society introduced new services, including an ATM facility, a banking app, and SMS banking, according to founding chairman and former Minister Krishna J. Palemar.
The society has partnered with HDFC Bank to offer these services and will also introduce a core banking facility, featuring the Bharat Bill Pay option, through Automation Cloud Solutions Pvt. Ltd.
The HDFC ATM was inaugurated during the Independence Day celebrations at the society’s Morgan’s Gate headquarters at 9:30 a.m.
