Uttar Pradesh-based Lakhimpur District Cooperative Bank organized its 92nd Annual General Meeting recently and during the meeting, it was announced that the bank earned a net profit of Rs 6.48 crore in 2020-21.
The bank announced a plan to implement a new gold loan scheme for its customers.
While presenting the financial report of the bank, the bank Chairman Vineet Manar said, “Since inception, our bank has been in profit and obtained ‘A’ grade in the audit as per the prescribed norms of Reserve Bank of India and NABARD”.
On the occasion, Chief guest MLA Lokendra Pratap Singh mentioned the importance of cooperatives, achievements of the bank, and service to the villages and poor through cooperatives at all levels.
The Bank Chief Executive Officer Harishchand Bhargava read out the annual report and presented the details of income and expenditure for the year 2020-21.
The audit report and audited accounts were approved in the meeting. The bank’s proposed program and estimated budget for 2022-23 were also approved.
MLA Yogesh Verma, Manju Tyagi, BJP District President Sunil Singh, and others were present on the occasion.
